TRX Suspension training is a new category of exercise that leverages body weight and gravity to develop strength, balance, increase flexibility and joint stability all at the same time! TRX is different from traditional exercises such as weight machines, free weights or cables in that is allows for the use of multiple planes of motion, muscles and joints simultaneously, much like your daily activities in life!
TRX Suspension training workouts are 45 minutes in length. You will perform a series of upper and lower body exercises to activate your core, improve your strength, balance, flexibility and joint stability. The specifically designed workout and variety of exercises, you get an effective, total body workout in each session with no chance of boredom!
TRX suspension training feels like the tightening and flexibility benefits of pilates and the invigorating burn of weight training along with the sweat and heat of cardio all in one neat little 45 minute “package” workout.
What is “the core”? Imagine the center of your body… 2-3 inches behind your naval, 2-3 inches in front of your spine... the center of the body. Now imagine all the small muscles, ligaments and connective tissue that attach that center point of your body to your outer, larger muscles that can enable you to move around. That is why you hear about the core being the foundation. A strong core is the first step in anyone’s fitness goal and a strong core allows you to perform all the other exercises and physical activities that you enjoy.
