
Kimberly is a certified athletic trainer and personal trainer, graduating from George Washington University with a Master of Science degree in Exercise Science in 2003. She served as an athletic trainer at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC from 2005-2007, where she assisted physicians in all areas of patient assessment and care while coordinating rehabilitation protocols for patients ranging from pediatric through adult. Kimberly was the Head Athletic Trainer at St. Stephens and St. Agnes schools in Alexandria, VA from 2003-05.
From 2000-2003, Kimberly was an Assistant Athletic Trainer for Division 1 Sports at George Washington University and was directly involved in the primary care of Women’s Basketball, Volleyball, Soccer, and Gymnastics. During this time she also oversaw and supervised the graduate athletic trainers at GW. Prior to this, Kimberly was an assistant athletic trainer for two years with the well-known Joyner Sports Medicine Institute in Harrisburg, PA.
Prior to moving to Lubbock, Kimberly worked at Elite Fitness Concepts, a premier gym in the Northern Virginia area. She specialized in athletic performance and post rehabilitation. She also served on the Virginia Legislative Committee and Chaired the Committee for Emerging Professions. She is certified by the National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification or (NATA-BOC) and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). She has spoken at numerous conferences on injury prevention and rehabilitation. Kimberly has a passion for helping active people recover from injury, stay injury free and to reach their full athletic and exercise potential. She also enjoys helping people overcome their perceived limitations to exercise and believes that everyone can find a way to exercise around their injuries, conditions or limitations.
